Rita Raimer

Rita is the owner and sole proprietor of High Tech Home Watch. She comes with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a 26 year career in state law enforcement. She was a high achiever in her career path. She was the first female promoted thru the ranks to an Agent In Charge in Ohio. She was the first female on the SWAT team and also on the firearms instructional team. Her position was parallel to a Police Chief and she was a member of the Ohio Police Chiefs Association.

Rita moved from Ohio to Nokomis, Florida in 2016 after being a snowbird and discovering the paradise here in Sarasota County. As the owner of High Tech Home Watch, Rita lives and operates her business on Casey Key allowing for quick response times as needed and routine awareness of the homes nearby.

Rita is not a “sit still” kind of gal. She is always seeking out more learning opportunities and ways to help people. In 2016 she started volunteering for the Senior Friendship Center and ITN Suncoast (a ride service for seniors). She is on the board for ITN Suncoast organization. In 2019-2020 she was the President of the board for Venice Newcomers Organization and in 2020 she became the Social Chair for the Venice Florida Corvette Club. In 2017 during Hurricane Irma, she stayed in the area and helped people prepare and recover following the hurricane. She wants everyone to have a better life.

As Rita settled in the area, she started thinking about her second career. With her background in law enforcement and over 1000 hours in leadership and management training, she has the ability to respond to disasters quickly, supervise projects, and work with people to accomplish goals quickly and efficiently using common sense and accountability. She has owned, built, and remodeled several different homes throughout her life and is quite familiar with the different issues that can develop around a home.

Rita places the highest emphasis on Competence, Honesty, Trustworthiness, Fairness and Professionalism. Keeping with her high standards, she recently received extensive training focused specifically on Home Watch education. She is a graduate of the Home Watch Training Program and practices the highest standards in the industry. She is very knowledgeable in recognizing or identifying potential causes of home damage or disaster. Rita takes pride in her work and reputation, quality is job one. Her precise standards, organizational, and interpersonal skills, are mirrored in the staff she trains and leads. In her business, Rita is focused on saving her customers money and maintaining a high standard of performance.
